Propose an Event

If you would like to book a show/event, please email booking@checafe.org with the following information:

 

Band name(s) or event information
Your contact information
Date(s) you are inquiring about
Tour information
Genre or event type
Link to your music (ie. Bandcamp)

Note to bands: We're a collective of volunteers, mostly full-time students. We are not paid for our volunteer hours organizing the space. Because of this, and because of the location of the space, we try to have no more than 2-3 shows a week, usually on weekends. Shows during the week tend to not be well attended (although there are exceptions).

All shows must have a core member in attendance, and every show must be confirmed at a meeting. Due to the nature of the collective, there will also be times when there are no collective members available to take a show. We really would like to book all shows, but there's a limit to how much our collective members can take on.

You can also email booking@checafe.org if you are in a local band and would like to be added to our database of local acts. Please include your band name, a link to your music, genre information and contact information. We will use this database to find bands to add to shows booked at Che.

Booking sub collective meetings occur Wednesdays at 7pm

Booking meetings are available for anyone to attend and pitch ideas for events and shows. This group works on communicating with bands, organizing proposals, and sorting through emails. Drop in if you want to get involved!
